The new Spatial planning law in The Netherlands (Omgevingswet; expected to be in force in 2022), opens new possibilities for many organisations and people to participate in all planning phases. As a ´healthy living environment´ will be part of the new law, various private and (semi) governmental knowledge centres of health are collaborating to explore complementary and overlapping knowledge and interest. In order to elaborate tools which can fill the gap between the world of ´health´ and the world of ´spatial planning´. In a first phase, the focus was on target groups, e.g. ´elderly people´. In close collaboration with all the organisations, Urban Dynamics involved a tool that was presented at various moments.
